05. MOC CHE

Finger-reef, the site is the shortest of the reefs visited in Playa del Carmen. Moc-Che has a flowering of abundant formations of small corals. It is not uncommon to cross moray eels, taking a nap. The flora and fauna under the sea is of a very large variety: stingrays, turtles, starfish, rock beauty, parrotfish, groupers, filefish and porkfish. A beautiful arch serves as a shelter for schools of multicolored fish close to the reef. At the end of the dive, a surprise awaits you: the Moc-Che site is short, we combine it with the Cueva del Pargo site where a sumptuous statue, the Virgen del Caracol (The Virgin of the sea snail), stands on a background of white sand. It protects men sailors. Don’t miss it!
